Our school hosted an archery shoot this week. Teams from across southern Iowa participated.
Archery has become a fairly popular sport across the state. A lot of 4-H clubs have archery, but this is actually through the schools.
Students in 3rd through 12th grade can participate. And this just happened to be Abby’s first shoot. She was a little nervous, but she did a good job.
Filling out the score card was nerve racking she said, but we thought she looked right at home with a pencil and clipboard in hand.
Rhett (on the right) and Ashtyn (on the left) shot next. It’s fun to see how much the kids change from 3rd to 8th grade.
