Beck’s Birthday

We went down to Maryville yesterday to celebrate Beck’s 40th birthday. It was a surprise…and we surprised her!

The girls from the lab planned the whole thing and were able to help her celebrate. (Unfortunately I wasn’t thinking and didn’t get a picture of all the girls. Sorry!)

And for those of you who don’t know Beck, let me tell you a little bit about her.

She’s a fun aunt.

I don’t know how many adventures she has taken the kids on. From fishing and hunting to some very memorable frog catching escapades, Beck is always willing to go along.

She loves to cook. Since I can remember Beck has enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. She makes the best butterhorn rolls in the world along with a myriad of other delicious recipes.

She owns her own business. UltraInsights is one of the three beef cattle ultrasound labs in the United States.

It is very interesting work and Beck is passionate about it. Maybe I’ll see if she will write a blog abut it some day!

She loves the cattle industry. Though she spends a lot of her time in the lab interpreting images, she also enjoys working cattle. Her favorite job is running the paperwork, but she’s A.I.’ed her share of cows, too.

She’s a wonderful mother. She loves her family so much!

And she’s the best darn sister/daughter/mother/wife/aunt we could ask for.

Love you, Beck!

Hope you had a fun birthday!

  1. Happy Birthday, Beck. You definitely have worked hard to become sucessful. You come from a hard working family with many great values. Keep up the good work and pass along your passion for the cattle industry to the next generation and beyond.

    1. Thanks, Erin! I appreciate the encouragement. I feel very blessed for my family and the values I’ve learned since a girl. Last night, we all gathered at Mom and Dad’s and watched a movie and had great fellowship. It doesn’t get much better than that. We missed Craig and Will (who were on the road ultrasounding…somebody’s gotta work!)
