We brought a group of spring cows up yesterday to sort into their calving pastures.
When we do that, we also clip the cow’s brand, so we can easily read her number in the pasture.
That way, Joe can determine which cow has had a baby without getting too close to disturb her.
We also deworm and vaccinate them when we run them through. Healthy cows make happy mommas!
It won’t be long till the pastures are full of babies. I can’t wait!
