Last Sunday was Cowboy Church! While the week or two leading up to it is a frenzy of work Uncle Joe and Aunt Heather pulled it off! It was such a fun evening! Aunt Heather had all the food made before hand so all we had to do the day of was set it out.
After everything was set up, people started showing up!
Little Twinkie faithfully gave horsey rides. I think I only saw her buck once. 😊
There was also a bouncy horse race set up.
Then Matt and Jacob took anyone who wanted to ride a horse on a little ride through the pasture.
It was a beautiful day for cowboy church! The rain from the day before had cooled things off, but the sun was out on Sunday!
Then the boys took a few kids on one last ride before they put the horses up and church started.
The Cowboy Church Band from Clarinda came to play. We love getting to listen to these guys!
After church everyone went through the food line to get a plate of delicious food!
We had a great time and can’t wait for next year! Thanks to everyone who made it out and for those of you who missed it we hope to see you next year!!
