Yesterday evening, a group of us headed down to Maryville. You see, Beck and Craig’s church has an annual Harvest Party on Halloween night as an alternative to the traditional Trick-or-Treating. And it is so much fun!
There are all sorts of activities for the kids to enjoy.
Jake and Emma loved the inflatables.
And there was the bumpy train that everyone but Emma enjoyed.
The older boys heard about the sling-shot paintball and couldn’t wait to try that out.
They thought that was pretty fun and suggested trying that for a Werner Family Angus Fun Day. (Um…no thank you.)
There was also this cool tile-roll.
We had all sorts of fun with that.
Then back inside, Lindsay and Jessica had volunteered to help paint faces. Jake is getting a snake painted on his cheek so he can scare his Daddy when he gets home. (Joe is deathly afraid of snakes…)
After we got done playing outside, there was a concert to enjoy.
And the final event of the evening, (which I am glad we weren’t able to stick around for) was the first annual food fight. Who on earth thought of this idea?!
Wow.
We all had a great time and look forward to going back next year.
