Abby participated in the sub-state round of the hoop shoot contest this weekend. (Her mother forgot to take a picture so this one is actually from the previous shoot.) Anyway, I’m happy to report that Abby got second place! She shot 17 out of 25 which was two points better than what she shot at the prior competition, so that was exciting.
Only the first-place winner got to move on to the state competition, so we are done for the year. But we had a fun time and look forward to trying again next year.
And now we’re thinking maybe we’ll start throwing the softball around and begin doing a little pitching. But not outside. I just looked at the forecast and it’s supposed to get down to 10 below on Thursday. BBRRRR!!!
