On Friday night, Mom hosted a Ladies Night for our church. What a fun time! It was the first time several of them had been in Mom and Dad’s new house, so we had a house tour followed by a meal and a lesson.
Have you ever noticed that church ladies make the best food? It was unbelievable! I think we had enough food there to feed an army and we even discussed just spending the night so that we could eat some more the next day. And while we did stay rather late (some husbands thought we had decided to make it a slumber party:) we refrained from devouring every last morsel and had plenty to take home to our families.
It was such an uplifting evening! We all had a great time and look forward to doing it again next year.
