Ok, todays blog is more just for laughs. 😊 So, Aunt Carolyn brought home some fancy glasses from New Zealand the last time she was there. She brought them by for Aunt Bon to try while she was making salsa. The idea is that they prevent crying when you cut an onion. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you should maybe try experimenting more often in the kitchen. For some reason when you cut onions it makes your eyes start to water really bad. It’s really kind of annoying. And you can’t wipe them because you have onions all over your hands and it just makes it work. (Don’t ask me how I know that.) There have been many theories/methods that I have tried over the years to prevent tears, but I haven’t found anything that works every time.
According to Aunt Bon these worked great, though! I think they have a rubber suction thing that guards your eyes (maybe swimming goggles would work too?). And with their bright style maybe they shouldn’t get lost in the kitchen!
Anyway, I thought it was an interesting gadget and you’ve got to get a laugh out of the picture!
