Oh Spring, Where Art Thou?

Today is the 104th day of January.  At least that’s what it feels like.  And that’s what it appears like when I look out my window.

We went to Lewis and Martha’s last night to celebrate April birthdays (it is the 16th of April after all) and when we drove home, it felt more like we were driving home after Christmas dinner.  The snow was blowing across the road, it was freezing cold out, and we had full, full tummies.

It’s hard to believe it’s the middle of April.  And I am really regretting planting some of my garden!  Lol.  What was I thinking?

I don’t know how people who live in colder climates manage.  (Aunt Trish, how do you do it?!)  I’m usually ready for spring about December 26th so these last four months have been a little rough.  But I haven’t given up hope!  Spring will come!  Right?  RIGHT?!

Stay warm and have a blessed day!

  1. It is windy here but a balmy 80. The weather will turn on us this summer. I would like it nice when I get there the middle of May.

  2. Bonnie if you were looking out our window this morning, April 17, and seeing 15 inches of snow you would really think it was Christmas. At least the sun is out today but they say we might get more snow tomorrow. I told Carolyn on Sat. that Rodger and I had our bags packed to come to her house and then they closed the airport!! I guess she lucked out. Guess winter will end some time. Even Lisa, who loves winter, is ready for it to end.

  3. Couldn’t agree with you more!!! But it is suppose to be in the 50’s tomorrow! That sounds like a heat wave!
