One Day Away

Our open house is tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s almost here!

I’m excited. And nervous. But mostly excited. I hope it goes well.

We’ve been working hard around the place to get things “tidied up.” And I wish I’d have had my camera today as Abby and Ashtyn were outside washing the barn-office windows and Grampy walked up and told them how nice a job they were doing. They then asked him when the last time was that the windows had been clean and he scratched his chin and said, “23 years ago.” (That’s when the barn was built.)

Ha! We were shocked at how much light the windows let in when they were clean. It’s the little things that amaze us.

Anyway, I hope you can come out and join us on Saturday. I think the cows look really good and even if you’re not in the market for females, come out and each lunch with us. Heather’s preparing the meal and she is an AMAZING cook.
