She Shoots, She Scores!

We went with Will to tag calves on Friday. And while Rhett and Matt have been doing quite a bit of the tagging this year, Friday was Abby’s turn. (Matt went too, but I’ll show you pictures of that another time…if I remember.)

Abby located a baby without a tag…she took a shot.

And caught it.

Way to go Abby!

Then Will stepped in and finished the job. Abby’s too young yet to tackle the whole procedure by herself. But she can handle the roping part.

We had a great day.

And I got to take these two whipper snappers along.

I’ll have to tell you more about that soon, too. But we have a tour group coming tomorrow to learn about feed efficiency and top-quality Angus bulls, so I’ve got to go work on “the big cleanup.” Lol.
