I haven’t really had time to sit down and write a blog much this summer, but I thought I’d share some of my favorite pictures of what we’ve been doing.
Here is our “Gate Shutting Crew” for chopping. These girls are amazing. They always have big smiles and big waves. (They play a game to see which tractor driver they can get to wave. Girls’ Team is much more friendly:)
And here they are in action
There’s just something about this kid on his horse. I think he is the most handsome cowboy ever.
Oh wait. Here’s another handsome cowboy.
Holy smokes, we’re just surrounded by handsome cowboys! (P.S. Cody is whistling…he’s always whistling. He’s just an upbeat, happy kind of guy.)
I love these girls.
And this picture.
And every ranch needs a six-year-old who wants to drive absolutely every vehicle on the place. (The Kubota is his favorite.)
He comes by that naturally; his father is the same way.
But really, what every ranch needs is a crazy 40-year-old lady who insists on wearing a dust mask and ear plugs each time she works cattle. And it helps if she can get manure shot directly on her hand. That’s the most important thing.
But if her younger brother gets completely covered in it, well, that’s just hilarious.
Wow. How did this blog go from my favorite pictures to this?!
Hope everyone’s summer is going well!
