Summer Break is here. And with summer break, we have our whole crew home!
(Look at what a great job I did with this photo. I always like the horses to be looking at me with their ears pointed towards me…not a single one is doing that. Heck, I didn’t even have all the people looking my way. Lol.)
Summers are always a busy time around the ranch. We are continually working cows, putting up hay, going to ball games, working cows, delivering bulls, spraying thistles, working cows, fixing fence, cutting cedars, and working cows. Did I mention we work a lot of cows? Ok. Good.
Here are a couple pictures from last night. And they may be my favorite pictures so far this summer. Look at the eager workers we have!
But I absolutely LOVE this picture. We were pulling CIDRs (a CIDR is a device you insert in a cow to help synchronize her for breeding) and these boys were helping. Look at the teamwork. They weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
I will try to post more pictures from our crazy summer as time allows, but it will undoubtably look like I’m on summer break from my blogs.
I hope you guys are all having a great summer!
