Tuesday was another beautiful fall day, so we were able to get a lot of work done. We decided to build two more outside pens at the feed efficiency testing center to accommodate more cattle, so that has been an ongoing project this fall.
We are in the final stages of that, and Clint and Joe are busy hanging and welding panels.
Dad also hauled the fall bulls home from the testing center on Tuesday. In fact, the barns were virtually empty for a few days, which allowed us to do our “deep cleaning.”
We try to thoroughly clean the barns between each set of cattle that are tested. And we are in the home stretch of that, too, which is good, because it will start filling up again next week.
Hope your week is going well!
