Will and the kids and I went on vacation last week. We had a great time.
The go-karts were definitely a highlight of the trip. Here, Abby is beating her brothers and father and that was a sweet moment for her. She was too short to drive on several of the tracks, so she was pretty excited when she got her own car. And then she won the race!
We stayed in a cabin at a state park in Oklahoma one night. That was beautiful. It’s always fun to go see new places…but then again, it’s always good to get back home.
The guys got quite a bit done while we were away. They poured a pad for the new weaning pens. You’ll have to ask them about that. Apparently it was quite a day. (Something about pouring concrete on a 104-degree day with little experience and only 4 guys?! It was an adventure to remember…)
Here Clint and Caleb are working on welding the new fence. Have I mentioned that Caleb is going off to college soon? We are going to be so lost without him!
We plan to wean the end of this week, so the boys have been working really hard to get all the pens built. They are doing a great job!
